Frequad-M

The Frequad-M sits at the centre of the Frequad range, bridging the compact Frequad-Ni and the high-power Frequad-HP. Its defining feature is an exceptionally narrow linewidth of <0.0005 pm, ten times narrower than the other Frequad models, making it the preferred choice when frequency purity and coherence length are paramount.

High Damage Threshold BBO Crystal

Oxide’s BBO conversion crystal provides >3,000 hours of single-spot lifetime at 1 W output, ensuring long-term beam quality and power stability.

High-Speed VCM Servo-Locking

The precision VCM servo actuator maintains the optimum phase-matching condition continuously, underpinning the Frequad-M’s low amplitude noise and long-term frequency stability.

Selectable Output Power

Available in four power configurations (0.3, 0.5, 0.7, 1 W), allowing users to specify the output level that best matches their application without over-specifying.

Low Power Consumption

Wall-plug power draw remains below 340 W across all output configurations.

High Damage Threshold BBO Wavelength Conversion Crystal

• The outstanding quality of OXIDE’s own BBO crystal provides over 3000 hours single-spot lifetime at 1 W output power, and over 1000 hours at 2 W. Furthermore, the little deterioration of the crystal assures stable motion for a long period of time at high beam quality.

• High-Resolution Laser Spectroscopy
  • The ultranarrow linewidth of the Frequad-M (<0.0005 pm) makes it the preferred source for Doppler-free spectroscopy, saturation spectroscopy, and other high-resolution techniques in the DUV, where resolving closely spaced spectral features requires exceptional frequency purity.
• Optical Coherence Metrology
  • A narrow linewidth directly translates to a long coherence length, which is essential for long-path interferometry and optical coherence techniques. The Frequad-M is suited to precision dimensional measurement and wavefront characterisation systems in the UV.
• Laser Cooling & Atom Trapping
  • Atomic physics experiments requiring a stable, single-mode DUV source for optical trapping, magneto-optical traps, or clock transitions benefit from the Frequad-M’s frequency stability and narrow linewidth.
• Semiconductor Photolithography & Inspection
  • The combination of excellent beam quality (M² < 1.2) and selectable output power makes the Frequad-M well suited to DUV lithography process development and high-resolution wafer inspection.
