Picosecond light source; 100x faster tuning, 10x faster CARS/SRS imaging

The APE PicoEmerald-FT delivers advanced, turnkey picosecond two-colour laser performance ideal for CARS and SRS microscopy. It tunes wavelengths 100× faster than the previous model- random steps take just 1.5 seconds. You benefit from 2 ps pulses with 10 cm⁻¹ spectral width, shot-noise limited output, and rapid image acquisition (10× faster).

The system outputs two beams: a 1032 nm Stokes beam (>700 mW unmodulated; >350 mW modulated at 20 MHz) and an OPO-pumped Signal beam (660–1010 nm, >600 mW at 800 nm), with optional Idler output (1055–2340 nm, >400 mW at 1250 nm)

You enjoy perfect spatial and temporal overlap of the beams in a compact, one-box configuration built for long-term experiments with active and passive stabilisation. The built-in EOM (20 MHz modulator) supports SRS and CARS with low background and high contrast. You can control it fully with GUI or remote via Ethernet/RS232. It integrates seamlessly with popular microscope platforms.
