The spectrum from the sample is always corrected for Raman shift and Raman intensity. This allows for a continuous calibration of the device and, therefore, the results are fast and reliable. This feature makes miniRaman an ideal solution for materials identification and quantitative measurements.
The miniRaman measures only 112mm x 39mm x 34mm (LxWxH) and weighs 400g (200g when in an aluminium housing). The spectrometer can integrate up to two lasers with wavelengths 660 nm and 785 nm to extend measured spectral range. The 785nm laser covers the fingerprint region from 400-2700cm-1 and the 660nm laser extends the spectral range to 2700-4500cm-1 . Spectral resolution down to 7cm-1 can be achieved.
