The miniRaman microscope is based on Lightnovo’s miniRaman spectrometer, which performs Raman shift and Raman intensity calibration during every spectrum acquisition. This makes miniRaman microscope much less expensive than typical Raman microscopes with frequency stabilised lasers. The patented technology of the miniRaman microscope guarantees very high throughput, wavenumber accuracy and Raman intensity control via an in-built reference channel.
The miniRaman microscope technology has be developed for Raman microscopy in near IR range from laser source at wavelengths 660 and 785nm. This instrumental setup allows for both sample viewing using the optical microscopy capabilities and performing measurements by Raman spectroscopy simultaneously. The visual observation reveals morphological details of a sample (e.g. color, size, shape), whereas the spectroscopic measurement reveals information about the molecular structure and chemical composition of a sample.
The miniRaman microscope are availble in five models: Standard M, Power M, SERS M, Power Dual M and Standard Dual M.
