The Lasea LS-Precess is a patented, high-performance laser module that eliminates taper from laser micromachining. Standard laser drilling and cutting produces angled sidewalls because of the cone geometry of a focused beam — the LS-Precess corrects this through high-speed rotation of the beam attack angle, delivering true 0° taper results with straight, parallel sidewalls across a range of materials and thicknesses.
MODULE SPECIFICATIONS
- Dual wavelength: 1030 nm + 515 nm or 343 nm
- High-speed rotation of the attack angle for 0° taper
- Unique bypass function — the only one on the market
- Compatible with galvo scanner for large-scan-field operation
- Easy to integrate into compatible LASEA platforms
When coupled with a galvanometric scanner, the LS-Precess operates across a large scan field, enabling high-throughput batch processing without sacrificing edge quality. The bypass function allows seamless switching between straight-edge machining and decoration or engraving within a single job — no handling, no repositioning, no rework. This combination also reduces cycle times compared to traditional cutting techniques.
The LS-Precess is the core module of the Lasea LS4-P machine and is also available as a standalone OEM module for integration into compatible platforms.
