MIRO ALTITUDE — FLAGSHIP TOUCHSCREEN POWER & ENERGY METER

Gentec’s current flagship display device, and the recommended choice for most new installations. Features a 10-inch anti-glare touchscreen (1280 × 800), three live display modes (scope, needle, bar chart), built-in data logging to internal memory or USB key, and comprehensive connectivity: USB-C, 2× USB-A, RS-232, Ethernet, BNC analog out, BNC sync out, and external trigger. Reads all head types — thermopiles, pyroelectrics, and photodetectors — for both power and energy. NEW: also compatible with INTEGRA all-in-one detectors. Battery powered (6 hours); also runs from 12 V supply or USB-C. Meter accuracy: ±0.5% ± 3 µV (power); ±1.0% ± 50 µV below 500 Hz (energy).

MAESTRO — BENCHTOP POWER & ENERGY METER

A proven benchtop monitor with a 5.6-inch colour touchscreen. Reads all detector types for power and energy measurement. USB key data logging; USB, RS-232, Ethernet, and analog output. Monitor accuracy: 0.25% ± 5 µV (power); ±1% (energy). Battery life: 6.5 hours from 4× Ni-MH AA. Available in multiple interface languages.

U-LINK — UNIVERSAL PC INTERFACE

The most versatile PC-based interface in the Gentec range. Reads every detector head — thermopiles, pyroelectrics, and photodetectors, for both power and energy — at up to 10 kHz repetition rate. Compact (57 × 26 × 91 mm, 120 g). Analog output, external trigger, and sync-out port for multi-channel setups. Resolution: 23-bit on current power scale. Controlled via PC-Gentec-EO software with real-time, scope, needle, statistics, and data acquisition modes. Available in USB or RS-232 versions.

INTEGRA — EMBEDDED PC INTERFACE (ALL-IN-ONE)

Embeds the PC interface directly into the detector head — connects straight to a PC via USB or RS-232 with no separate meter required. Three variants: USB (-INT), RS-232 (-IDR), USB with external trigger (-INE). Controlled via PC-Gentec-EO software — the same interface used with MAESTRO and U-LINK. Lower recalibration costs: one product, one calibration. NEW: INTEGRA detectors can now also be read directly on the MIRO ALTITUDE display.

OTHER OPTIONS

TUNER and UNO: economical single-channel power-only monitors for basic CW measurement.

  • The MIRO ALTITUDE or MAESTRO paired with any Gentec detector head gives a complete, NIST-traceable laser power or energy measurement system for research labs. Statistical functions (max, min, average, standard deviation, RMS and PTP stability) run in real time across all display modes.
• LASER ALIGNMENT & BEAM OPTIMISATION
  • The MIRO ALTITUDE’s needle display mode with XNR Anticipation provides faster effective response than the physical detector rise time — making it the preferred readout for aligning beams into fibres, cavities, and optical systems where continuous feedback matters.
• AUTOMATED TEST & INTEGRATION
  • The U-LINK’s small footprint, 10 kHz data rate, and serial command set make it the standard choice for integration into automated test systems. Multiple U-LINKs can be synchronised via the sync-out port for low-cost multi-channel setups.
