The Alizé 1.7 is a SWIR scientific grade camera, with an InGaAs detector that combines performance with reliability. It’s low noise levels, high efficiency, and a rapid frame rate are all made possible by combining Photon etc’s state-of-the-art control electronics and a four-stage thermoelectric cooler (TEC). While maintaining an operating temperature as low as -50 °C, the TEC uses forced air cooling that alleviates the need for a water or liquid nitrogen chiller unit.
