A Tunable Light Source provides monochromatic light of the users’ desired wavelengths. It covers the wavelength range from 200-2500nm with optical resolution from 20-0.2nm.

The Sciencetech tunable light sources (TLS) are complete plug and play systems consisting of a lamp, power supply, monochromator, filter wheel (with 4 filters) mounted to a metal baseplate to create a compact, fully assembled illuminator. Each system is pre-aligned during production and packaged with system’s test data and detailed manual.
Each model is an advanced system with a small optical bandpass. The overall spectral range is 300-1800nm. Output bandpass can be varied using included adjustable slits.
Sciencetech also offers a tunable light source solar simulator combination instrument. This combination system allows a selectable output at the target plane of spatially uniform sun light or monochromatic light.
The tunable light source solar simulator combination system adds a homogenisation unit to the exit port of the monochromator that includes an electronic shutter and two position filter tray.
The tunable light source functions the same as the other models in Sciencetech’s tunable light source line but adds the extra functionality of a solar simulator with broadband spatially uniform white light.
