Precilasers‘ narrow-linewidth, Single-Frequency Fiber Seed Laser is based on doped fiber technology and is available in the Ytterbium and Erbium gain bands. Choose from lasers in the range 1014-1162nm with a linewidth down to 3kHz or in the range 1525-1610nm with a linewidth down to 1kHz.
Precilaser single-frequency, DFB fiber laser sources are single-mode (TEM00), mode-hop-free, low RIN noise, fiber lasers with excellent wavelength stability. With linewidth performance as narrow as 3kHz, these robust fiber laser deliver powers up to 50mW in 1014-1162nm wavelength range and up to 10mW in the 1525-1610nm range,
A Single-frequency Distributed Feedback (DFB) fiber laser is a fiber laser the seed of which has a fiber cavity comprising a periodic structure that stands as a distributed reflector within the specific spectrum of wavelengths.
The cavity represents a distributed Bragg reflector. It is made up of two fiber Bragg gratings generating a single-longitudinal-mode (SLM) emission. Usually, there is a phase shift evenly distributed from both sides, in the middle.
