The RIMA Global Hyperspectral Raman Microscope from Photon etc. delivers spectral and spatial information. This system rapidly provides Raman maps over large fields of view.
Based on high throughput global-imaging filters, the RIMA is faster and more efficient than standard point-by-point or line-scan based systems. RIMA offers a unique solution for spectral and spatial characterisation of advanced materials over large areas (up to 1 mm x 1 mm and even more).
The RIMA system acquires monochromatic images over the entire field of view of the microscope objective using unique imaging filter technology. RIMA is at the forefront of Raman microscopy; This essential platform provides rigorous information on the growth, population distribution, uniformity, stress and other fundamental properties of a system under study. By combining the wealth of information obtained from the phenomenon of Raman scattering with the speed of global hypersectral imaging, RIMA pushes the limits of scientific analysis: it is a non-invasive technique ideal for the study of materials and for biological sciences.
