Sirah‘s Pulsed amplifier dye laser utilises up to 5 amplification stages and phase conjugate mirror based on stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS) producing single-mode laser pulses.
Sirah‘s Pulsed amplifier dye laser utilises up to 5 amplification stages and phase conjugate mirror based on stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS) producing single-mode laser pulses.
The phase conjugate mirror is only efficient for single frequency pulses, resulting in suppression of the amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) and continuous wave (CW) seed beam.
A Ti:Sapphire or CW dye laser producing a few hundred milliwatts can be used as a seed source. The amplifier is integrated into a single housing.
