The MOGLabs MFE Fiber Amplifier is a high-power, modular system based on Er and Yb doped active fibres. The MFE embeds up to 3 amplification stages providing output power from 500 mW to 20 W.
The MFE amplifier uses an internal or external seed laser and up to three amplification stages providing output power from 500 mW to 20 W. The pre-amplifier is a unique Moglabs design based on the Moglabs MFP compact pre-amplifier. The MFP pre-amplifier is a cost-effective, low-power fibre pre-amplifier based on Er and Yb doped active fibres. It uses an internal DFB or external seed laser providing output power from 300mW (wavelength and seed power dependent). The pre-amplifier and MFE amplifier operating wavelength ranges include 1000 to 1100nm for Yb and 1530 to 1610nm for Er active fibres.
An external second harmonic generation (SHG) module can be connected directly to the amplifier via a standard USB-C
cable.
