The Hypostent is an ergonomic, production-ready laser workstation engineered specifically for the micromachining of medical devices. Where conventional tube-cutting systems handle a single process, the Hypostent combines a femtosecond laser source — available at 20 W, 40 W, or 80 W with up to 200 µJ pulse energy and bi-burst / nanoswitch pulse modes — with an advanced water-cooled ScanLab galvo scanner to enable the widest range of laser processes in a single setup.
The combination of cutting nozzle and scanner in one machine enables off-centred cutting, chamfering, turning, milling, texturing, drilling, marking, thin-film removal, debonding, decoration, and engraving — without any repositioning between operations. An intuitive, user-centric HMI is customised per user type, minimising training time and ensuring rapid access to authorised functions.
