Measurement and calculation are performed on the device, with the result displayed on the screen, removing the need for a host computer. The small form factor makes the FZW an easy-to-use analysis tool. Unit can be powered either through USB or from a DC plugpack. Configured with an analog output for either wavelength monitoring or laser stabilization via a built-in tunable PID controller.
Includes both Ethernet and USB interfaces for command and query, with immediate integration into existing control systems (LabVIEW, MATLAB and python drivers provided). Fully-featured GUI, including long-term measurement and modehop-free scan-range measurement.
Compact fibre switches can be offered as an optional extra. These can be supplied with either 2, 4 or 8 channels and utilise MEMS technology for rapid switching and reliable operation.
