The DISCO is manufactured and optimised for operation at one unique repetition rate which is typically 2kHz (other repetition rate upon request). The DISCO laser will deliver a low pulse to pulse timing jitter < 10 ns. The jitter performance is different to the time of generation of the optical pulse. This is the fixed amount of time between the electronic trigger signal and the optical pulse. The jitter performance we provide, aka pulse to pulse timing jitter, gives the user the accuracy of the optical pulse arrival time in respect to the laser rate of operation.
